DHT Consulting offers remote PC support from the comfort of your home or from your desk. Using the Remote Quick Connect widget will connect at DHT Consulting rep to your PC in a matter of minutes.
DHT Consulting Remote Support requires that Java be installed on your PC. If you do not have it installed, you can get it at java.com.
Connection Process:
- Contact a DHTC technician.
- Inform the technician of your problem, if the tech believes a remote session is required they will give you a 9 digit key.
- Go to http://www.dhtc.ca and enter your name and support key in the “Support Quick Connect” widget.
- Press “Connect“.
- The Remote Control application will begin downloading.
- Once downloaded the application will ask for your permission to install.
- After the application has installed you will be connected to the technician. They will be able to see what you see on your screen.
After the Session:
- The technician will disconnect from your computer.
- The Remote Control application will uninstall from your computer.
- Go about your day knowing the issue has been solved!
